Frequently Asked Questions

  • GFCI stands for “Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters.” They are designed to guard against electric shock if moisture is present. They are most commonly found in bathrooms, kitchens, garages and outdoors.

  • This can be difficult to answer without a proper inspection from our licensed electricians. Older homes are typically more susceptible to needing their panels replaced as the amount of amps is no longer sufficient for modern electronics and appliances.

  • Outlets can stop working for a number of reasons. It could be because the switch is broken, or the wiring is bad, or the breaker has tripped. If you’ve tried to flip the breaker and testing other outlets in your house and it still continues to not work, it’s time to call an electrician to diagnose and repair the issue.
