  • With regular professional maintenance, upkeep and consistently changing out the air filters, the average furnace typically lasts around 10-15 years.

  • This will depend heavily on your unique system, but in general, for best performance, you’ll want to replace the air filters every one to three months. Different types of filters will last longer than others. Contact your HVAC specialist for specific recommendations on your system.

  • The first place to start is by examining how old your current system is. If your system is over 10 years old, you will likely see a significant amount of savings in a new high-efficiency system.
